Out of sight, But not out of mind.

When your body hasn't learned to stay safe. Your mind learns to stay busy. You're not "too much", you're unexpressed... and unseen.

Mind • Body • Spirit Approach

Emotional wounds don’t live in the mind alone. Through a Body-based lens, Mind Makeover Therapy supports the full healing process—reframing cognitive thoughts, restoring safety in the body, and reviving inner purpose and connection. Our integrative approach blends mindfulness, breath-work, and creative practices to help you process trauma and reconnect with yourself - mind, body, and spirit. â€‹

Trauma Therapist

You’re not “too much.” Your nervous system is overwhelmed. If you’ve spent years overthinking, staying busy, or feeling like something is missing… You’re not broken. When the body hasn’t learned to feel safe, the mind learns to stay busy.

I’m a body-based trauma therapist with 10 years of experience working in crisis intervention, inpatient care, maternal health, and private practice. But more than that… I understand what it feels like to live in survival mode while appearing high-functioning on the outside. I specialize in helping women and adolescents navigate complex trauma, attachment wounds, and emotional overwhelm by reconnecting with the body—not just the mind.

Because healing isn’t just about understanding your experiences, it’s about learning how to: feel safe in your body, sit with your emotions without escaping, and stop searching for something outside of you that was never missing. In my work, I integrate evidence-based approaches like EMDR and DBT with mindfulness, movement, and creative expression. Together, we create space for what’s been held in your body for too long. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be ready to come home to yourself.
