OUT OF SIGHT - BUT NOT OUT OF MIND.
Trauma lingers beneath the surface, shaping how we think, feel, and react—often without realizing it. It shows up in anxiety, self-doubt, relationship struggles, and the constant feeling of being "on edge." Using a combination of trauma-informed psychotherapy, mindful arts, and somatic healing, we create a safe space where emotions can be expressed, released, and rewritten. By integrating mindfulness practices with evidence-based trauma therapy, we help young adults process emotions, release stored pain, and rebuild a sense of safety and trust. Because your mindset matters!

Is Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) treatable?Absolutely! Despite the stigma, BPD is highly treatable, and recovery is not only possible but common. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is the gold standard treatment for BPD, helping individuals build skills to manage emotions, reduce impulsivity, and improve relationships. With consistent therapy and support, many people with BPD experience significant improvement, and over time, some no longer meet the diagnostic criteria for the disorder. Recovery is a journey, but it’s one that’s entirely achievable.
-
How are ADHD and BPD connected? The two conditions share some overlapping symptoms, like emotional dysregulation, impulsivity, and rejection sensitivity. However, aDHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder, while BPD is a personality disorder often linked to trauma. Untreated ADHD can lead to significant challenges with self-esteem, relationships, and managing emotions, which may resemble or contribute to traits associated with BPD. Early treatment of ADHD can reduce emotional and relational struggles, improving overall mental health.
-
Can DBT help if I don’t have BPD?Yes! DBT is effective for anyone struggling with emotional dysregulation, whether caused by ADHD, CPTSD, anxiety, or depression. Its practical skills are universal and can help with: Reducing stress and overwhelm. Improving decision-making in difficult moments. Building healthier, more fulfilling relationships. You don’t need a specific diagnosis to benefit from DBT—it’s about learning tools to create emotional balance and resilience in everyday life.
